Jennifer’s yoga classes are moving meditation. They inspire a present mindset. When sight is removed, hearing becomes heightened. Therefore there’s no room for distraction like there can be when our eyes wander the room, pulling our minds in multiple directions.
This is important because Jennifer believes that when we’re not present, our parasympathetic nervous system (rest digest repair mode) is not as active. Therefore, our physical bodies are not repairing during class, let alone while in a yoga pose.

No matter where you go, your taking your thinking with you. If your distracted during class, it gives the mind the opportunity to focus outside the room. As well, fixate on getting the pose over with and or needing to get to the next pose. Which means we’re fighting the moment and struggling to be in it. This can trigger stressful stories which can activate our sympathetic nervous system. Defeating the purpose of yoga which is to be present so that we can repair.
Jennifer’s yoga classes embody and inspire participants to be in a present state of mind. Not only do her classes have guided alignment based instruction, they also have her willingness to be present. Which is how and why so many participants leave her classes feeling so good.
